Bring your dancing shoes… ‘Cause DAMN!

Weiss

(UK) – Toolroom, Dirty Bird
Deep jacking grooves, warm rumbling subs, sweet sharp percussion, delicate vocal treatment… Whatever it is about house music that stimulates you the most, you’re guaranteed to find plenty of it on a Weiss record. An ambassador for real House music and leading light in Toolroom’s #RESET campaign, Weiss has been selected to take the label into the next decade.

Walker & Royce – Dirty Bird

Walker & Royce have been producing their emotive, subdued and groove-heavy deep house since 2011— but almost from the start, they were touted as future stars. Now it’s official, thanks to a certain UK tastemaker— not to mention a string of stellar productions and remixes.” -Bruce Tantum: Editor, XLR8R

Cptn Jay – Airpusher, EJR Radio

Cptn Jay is a visionary co-founder of the Airpusher Collective, a premiere Burning Man sound, events and building community based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Having performed at Burning Man festival every year since 2001 his eclectic sets are known for being consistently fun: filled with heart & soul, swooping melodies, and chugging basslines, all tastefully infused with world rhythms. Obsessed with putting the “dance” back into “dance music”, his unique blend of stripped down funky deep house, techno of all types, and world grooves consistently get dance floors pumping from the corners of the deserts to the hearts of the biggest cities.

Jon Barnes – Airpusher

Do not attempt to navigate dark rooms with flashing lights while Jon Barnes is at the helm. Many have been lost; they call him the Bermuda Triangle of techno.

Originally a jazz musician, Jon caught the dance music bug from the contagious sounds radiating from New York’s Twilo in the late 1990s, later moving to Europe. From 2004-2014 he co-hosted the Big Love Show on KZSU 90.1 FM, one of the longest-running house music radio shows in the US. Jon’s musicianship keeps his tastes constantly evolving, always forward thinking, and never losing sight of his roots: sun-drenched, late-morning walks home from West 27th Street, and Balearic afternoons spent shaking the sand out of his clothes from the afterhours.
